Sonja is a seasoned Ironman competitor with a long list of accomplishments in triathlon and ultrarunning, topped with a 2nd place finish at the Ironman World Championships in the 35-39 age group in 2015.

After stepping away from Ironman, Sonja leapt head first into the world of adventure racing. Her most recent adventure was as a competitor on Team Iron Cowboy at the World’s Toughest Race Eco-Challenge Fiji. The race was featured as a binge-worthy series on Amazon Prime.

She also hosts the hit podcast, “Tales of Toughness”.
